In my research, I found out that he had a sister, Mary E. "Mollie" PRYOR-Jackson, also a former slave of Richard L. and Lucinda E. (Deatley) Jackson. The siblings were born in Va. between 1855-1856 and the family (white and black) moved to Gray's Summit, Franklin Co., MO, in 1859. Later, Mary married Pvt. Thomas Sharp (served in the US Colored Troops in Mo during the Civil War) in NE in 1872 and they lived and died in Craig, Holt Co., Mo. Arthur lived across the state/county line in White Cloud, Doniphan Co., MO. I thought for sure that since there is a PRYOR match in Franklin County, we should correspond to see if/what connection there might be?David Jacksonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11701663816140645519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8110335572470669971.post-61607459852736574452016-04-14T22:06:55.943-07:002016-04-14T22:06:55.943-07:00I recently published a biography of my gr gr Grand...I recently published a biography of my gr gr Grandfather, Arthur Jackson, who was a slave in Franklin County.
